Assistant Property Manager - Seattle WA

Responsibilities:

• Across multiple sites, manage regular move-in and move-out flow including checking units, collecting tenant information, explaining move-in instructions, sending notices, and dealing with deposits based on inspection.
• Operate Appfolio system to manage customer data, maintenance requests, contracts, and other related issues in the renting process before and after tenants move in.
• Assign work orders, assist maintenance technicians with inspecting properties, supervise repairs, and visit different properties to ensure all sites and communities are maintained properly, foreseeing potential problems.
• Establish fluent communication and good relationships with tenants by investigating and resolving their complaints.
• Communicate with the Property Manager, vendors, owners, and other organizations to advance the completion of maintenance/repair progress, discuss, and schedule minor construction issues.
• Post notices for residents on unit doors and common areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Up to 2 years of work experience related to property management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Capable of operating Appfolio and different management or accounting software
• Capable of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Capable of visiting to different sites to perform inspections and regular communications with tenants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Personal vehicle to travel between properties

$20 - $21 an hour
