Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Bilingual Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Bilingual Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of production areas. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. 

Job Title: Bilingual Sanitation / Equipment Cleaner 

Location: Shirley, NY

Pay Rate: $19 - $19.25

Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday to Friday, overnight)

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of production equipment and areas in accordance with company and regulatory agency standards.
• Responsible for cleaning soiled supplies and equipment used in the production process, ensuring compliance with health codes.
• Efficiently disassemble and assemble production equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Perform maintenance cleaning on machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Keep accurate cleaning records of equipment and areas in accordance with SSOPs.

What's Needed?

• 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
• 1 year of experience cleaning industrial equipment.
• Fluency in Spanish
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions is a plus.
• Good communication skills, including bilingual proficiency.
