Join the team and live with Verve!Key Responsibilities Welcome and connect with every customer every time by being a brand ambassador with positivity and enthusiasmHire, train, and schedule cafe staffCreate a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for customersDevelop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficiency Monitor and analyze sales and financial reports Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed Oversee food and beverage quality control Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase sales Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining a clean environment including the cleaning of the back of house, bar areas, and patios Contribute to store profitability by following Verves cash handling and cash register protocols Work at different stations in the caf as neededFollow all Verve policies, procedures, and processesHave a passion for coffee!Physical RequirementsThe following physical demands outline the requirements necessary for employees to effectively carry out the essential functions of this position. During the performance of duties, employees are expected to engage in regular communication, auditory perception, and reading tasks. This role is dynamic and involves prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours), walking, bending, stooping, and crouching throughout the shift. Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, adept finger and wrist dexterity are essential for successful performance in this position.Qualifications and Requirements3+ years of experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
