Title: Finance Director Location: On-Site in Ponte Vedra, FL Job Purpose: The Finance Director will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and operations of a start-up company operating in the USA and Israel. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, including financial planning, reporting, risk management, cash flow management, and compliance. The Finance Director will also manage the financial aspects of treatment pricing, revenue reconciliation, and the 3PL relationship. Areas of Responsibility: Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Planning: Implement the financial strategy aligned with the company’s goals and growth objectives. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation, and coordinating financial planning. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements (GAAP, IFRS). Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports consistent with company locations. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, performance metrics, and KPIs to guide decision-making. Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations on acquisitions, mergers, and capital expenditures. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies, including assessing operational, market, and credit risks. Consider cross-border risks and regulatory differences. Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and compliance with risk management policies. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital to maintain financial stability. Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions across company locations. Ensure efficient management of foreign exchange and intercompany transactions. Audit and Compliance: Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and policies. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate governance. Treatment Pricing and Revenue Reconciliation: Oversee the financial aspects of treatment pricing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and market standards. Manage revenue reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. 3PL Relationship Management: Manage the financial aspects of the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) relationship, including contract negotiations, cost management, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with financial and operational standards in the 3PL agreements. Fundraising and Investor Relations: Support fundraising activities, manage due diligence, and plan financials to attract investors. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g., sales, supply chain, clinical, quality) to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 20+ years of progressive experience in finance, demonstrating expertise in financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, and risk management. Master’s in finance, Business Administration (MBA), or CPA/CFA certification is preferred. Qualification Requirements: Experience in strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management. Proven track record in leading audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and raising capital is desirable. Experience working in a cross-border environment or with international financial regulations is highly beneficial. Areas of Authority: Financial Decision-Making: Authority to approve expenditures within budgetary limits and oversee capital investment decisions. Lead negotiations with banks, investors, and financial institutions. Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets. Authority to implement improvements in financial systems and processes. Contract and Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, partners, and financial institutions.
