The Investment Strategist - OCIO role will work within the Portfolio Strategy team to develop investment strategy, product selection and asset allocation recommendations as well as facilitate the audit analysis of prospective client holdings. The Investment Strategist will also assist the portfolio management team by communicating with financial advisors and their clients as needed and by providing ongoing support on investment related activities. Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations: Lehi, UT; Provo, UT. Responsibilities include reviewing and understanding risk tolerances and goals of prospective clients to make appropriate product and asset allocation recommendations; assisting in investment management of client portfolios as directed by portfolio management team; generating proposals based on recommendations for tailored investment portfolios to be presented to advisors and/or prospective clients; reviewing client allocations for consistency with objectives and making rebalance recommendations as necessary; creating portfolio analytics to support allocation recommendations for new/existing OCIO clients; having a thorough understanding of investment managers and strategies available to advisors and their clients that have been evaluated by OCIO's investment team and articulating OCIO's due diligence process; maintaining knowledge of services available to OCIO clients and advisors-based client needs including Banking & Lending, Philanthropic, Business Valuation, and Wealth Planning services; comprehending investment strategic positioning and articulating this to advisors and/or clients. Requirements include a minimum 3 years of investment industry experience, previous experience in asset allocation, portfolio management and investment manager due diligence preferred, analytical and quantitative skills, a Bachelor's degree, current Series 65 required or ability to obtain within 90 days after hire, current CFA preferred or ability to obtain after hire, and obtaining Orion Industry Certification. The role requires owning and managing relationships with stakeholders directly and working effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
