Company Description

Gleam Law is a business and intellectual property law firm with offices in downtown Seattle. Gleam Law PLLC is looking for an receptionist/legal assistant. We are willing to train the right individual regardless of experience. Full time position, with possibility of part time to start. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop litigation skills for eventual advancement within the firm. Previous legal experience a plus.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Gmail, File explorers, and internet research

• Attention to detail and great organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

• Ability to take instruction and follow procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer and return phone calls

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail

• Organize and maintain office areas including the kitchen

• Draft and respond to correspondence

• Initial client intake and data entry

• Review, pay and track invoices for payment to vendors and internal accounting

• Scheduling and coordinating meetings and calendaring case deadlines

• Updating the website

• Client engagement, billing, follow-up and retainer tracking

• Filing, copying, and scanning

• Document preparation

• Attorney and paralegal assistance as needed

Base compensation is $25-$30/hour but may be increased dependent upon experience. Benefits at full time include medical insurance, IRA, gym pass, and public transit pass/parking subsidy.
