Description The Assistant Tractor Driver Manager is responsible for seasonal support to the Tractor Driver Manager in tractor operations. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of coordinating tractor drivers and the wagon ride operations. This position must have a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends, to accommodate the unique demands of our event-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assist with interviewing and training tractor drivers. Support the management and scheduling of tractor driver shifts. Cover for staff during breaks to ensure continuous operations. Fuel the barrel train, light towers and tractors as needed each morning. Manage daily Tractor Driver schedule, including meal periods. Determine routes daily for tractor drivers. Act as head driver for the Transporter Wagon. Assist Maintenance and Mechanical Coordinator with tractor breakdowns as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Drivers License Required Additional certifications or training in tractor operation preferred. Experience in supporting teams, especially in agricultural or event settings. Basic proficiency in operating tractors and other farm equipment. Capability to assist with maintenance tasks and manage minor repairs. Project support skills with the ability to assist in managing multiple tasks. Reliable decision-making skills in the absence of senior management. Availability to work evenings and weekends during peak seasonal operations. Ability to climb in and out of a tractor. Ability to work alone and in large crowd settings. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of the seasonal attraction. Requirements Physical Demands and Work Environment: Enthusiastic, friendly, and enjoy working with the public. Neat, clean, energetic, reliable, punctual, and honest. At least 21 years old by September 1st, 2025. Some positions require proof of a valid driver's license upon employment offer. Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms. Requirement to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and sit regularly. Working on your feet for extended periods. Specific vision abilities needed: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
