Our eCommerce client is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join their team for a freelance opportunity ASAP. The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for gathering user requirements, conducting research, designing, and testing to enhance user engagement and conversions on the eCommerce site and mobile app, with a primary focus on the cart and checkout experience Required for the UI/UX Designer: Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or related field 4+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in eCommerce Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile-first design approaches Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design Skilled in A/B testing, usability testing, and user research Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) Strong problem-solving, attention to details, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Effective project management skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Must be available to start in a few days, 20-26 hrs per week max, through Dec 2024. There will be 1 panel interview and then a decision will be made, maybe a 2nd interview if needed.
