• Mornings: 5:45-10am Mon-Sat
• Afternoons: 10am-4pm Mon-Sat
• Nights: 4pm- Close (9 pm Mon-Thu, 8 pm Fri, 7 pm Sat)

Sun: 10:15am -2:45pm *Note that sometimes shifts are flexible. Youth Recreation Specialists: Marianna Sine –msine@saltlakecounty.gov (msine@slco.org) (385) 468-1305 The recreation specialist will be working at Northwest Recreation Center (1255 West 300 North). The recreation specialist works with the Program Coordinator to ensure that the program runs smoothly. The recreation specialist is responsible for running practices for the Rookie League, refereeing games, scorekeeping, and helping set up and take down programming equipment. This position will mostly be on Saturdays with potential hours in the middle of the week for training or helping at events. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work or someone wanting to work in recreation. Applicants must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Applicants must pass a swim screening test. Applicants must be able to lift heavy weight for short periods of time. Shifts vary during the following time blocks: Monday – Friday 5:45am – 12:00pm Monday – Friday 3:45pm-9:00pm Saturdays 7:45am – 7:00pm Sundays 10:00am-2:30pm Swim Instructors Swim Instructor Applicants must be 16+. Applicants must pass a swim screening test. Applicants must be able to work with children ages 3-14. Applicants must be able to provide a safe learning environment and follow program standards Swim Lessons are taught year-round. Classes may be Tuesday & Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, or weekday mornings during the summer. Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:
